Would give 10 stars to Krisna if I could!! I spent months learning from this instructor as I was never truly confident in my driving. Each lesson I learned something new and gained more confidence. Krisna is very well mannered, kind and extremely patient. He points out any mistake you make as a driver and makes you learn from it. He prepared me very well for my Road test as I passed yesterday! Couldn’t have been more happier with the experience I had with U-pass.
Amazing instructor who helped me pass the driving test in Burnaby in 1st attempt. Being new to left hand drive was a real challenge though. Very reasonably priced. I just passed my class 7 (“N” test) with the help of Krisna! He is extremely patient and gives valuable advice and prepare you extremely well for the actual road test itself. I only had 4 by 1 hour session from Sir Krishna Guriah to prepare for my Class 5 Road Test in Burnaby. He has been very patient to point out the correct ways of driving and techniques in order to pass the test. He was very familiar in Burnaby area — that was very helpful in my actual test. I was very fortunate to have Krisna as my instructor. I already had a driver’s license from India. Seating position and Driving lanes in Canada are completely different from India. Still, with 3 classes and an additional warm up session before the road test, Krisna made me pass the Road Test. He is a very committed individual. His instructions are not only to make you pass the road test, but also to make you a safe driver. He exactly knows what the road test examiner looks for. I will recommend U-PASS to anyone looking for driver licensing.

The instructors at U-pass were amazing especially Krishna taught me in and out every single thing even when I don’t even know how to drive a car at all from beginning, no matter what they make u pass the test and that’s there main goal. I would definitely recommend this school for anyone.
Great driving school, flexible on scheduling, great price, great tips and lessons that help you learn how to handle tricky situations, excellent on a whole.
Great experience.. I was new to the country and Krisna identified all the gaps and help me fix them flawlessly. Pre-exam session was the most important because he explained all the points i should be concentrating upon during the exam. He focused not just on passing the exam but also being a safe and skilled driver which matters the most. I passed by test in a matter of 1 month (10 sessions). I would recommend Upass strongly if you want to be a skilled driver and also pass your exam.
U pass driving school is simply amazing! I was able to pass my road test because of them!
So, I am rather suprised to see only 6 reviews as this is certainly the BEST driving school in the area. It is managed by a father-son duo who both equally excel in teaching how to drive correctly in BC. I took all my driving lessons from Partish (son). I wouldn’t be exaggerating when I say that he is the sole reason that i got my Class 5 license. This school was recommended to me by a friend who cleared her class 5 license and took her lessons from Krishna (father).
What I liked about them:
1. Partish was always on time for my classes.
2. They covered all the aspects that I was tested on.
3. They are super patient and won’t rush you.
4. I took a couple of lesson from the other drivings schools before them. None of them even came close to the way these guys taught me.
5. I took the road test on their car which was quite beneficial to me as I got a 45 min driving practice before my exam.
I recommend this school big time if you are looking to ace your test in the first go. Also, they are one of the most affordable schools out there.

Passed Class 5 Burnaby DLC: It was a long journey for me; I failed my driving test before I started taking classes from Krisna. He’s very supportive and helpful and tries to point out every mistake while instructing. He’s well aware of the Burnaby/Surrey/Langley area which also helped me to understand the driving conditions in the neighbourhood. I highly recommend him to all the newbies and international people who wish to get their license in BC.

I completed ten 1 hour sessions with Krisna and can confidently say that he is a very good instructor. He helps you with a lot of tips the examiner would be looking at during the test as well as covers all of the road test routes. You would also learn on the Toyota Prius which I felt was so much better than the Toyota Corolla available at most other schools.

I would have never passed my road test without Krisna. Would give him 6 stars if I could! He prepared me for absolutely everything, was kind and patient, and helped me go from being a nervous wreck in the car to a much more confident driver capable of making those tough decisions on the road. If you feel like you’ll never pass, take lessons with him. He’s an amazing driving instructor, would recommend him to anyone!
I passed the road test at the first attempt! The instructor is meticulous and straight to the point. The driving class is pretty much the same as the road test, as long as you follow his tips you will be able to pass it right away! I highly recommend!

Passed my class 5 driving test in 1st Attempt. Went to krishna highly recommended from a friend. Took 6 classes at Burnaby with Krishna. Krishna can be a bit intimidating to start off but all he is doing is getting you ready for the actual driving test. Frankly, there are just too many rules to remember and he cant really do anything other than correct your driving at every turn. His car is really nice. He will give you very helpful pointers. After being taught by him, I am sure your actual driving test will be extremely smooth. He has become a good friend now 😛

Krishna and Partish are awesome at being a driving instructor! They did an awesome job helping me pass my N test, from having lots of patience, to being clear with directions… definitely recommend them! As a bonus, they also have a very light and easy car to drive (Toyota Prius) so if you’re looking for a car to rent for your test, U-Pass is who you should rent it from!

Passed in my first attempt! Krisna is very meticulous with his approach, he will ensure you have the right skills before you take the road test, and trust me, once you drive with Krisna, doing the test is way easier 😛
I needed to get my BC driver’s license, and since there is no bilateral agreement between Canada and Finland I had to complete a knowledge and road test for that matter (for some nationalities it’s possible to just exchange the license without any tests).
I chose the “car rental for road test”- package where we had a good 45min warm-up before the actual road test.
Krisna was extremely helpful, I got some great tips for the road test and he pointed out a few habits I’ve picked up throughout the 10 years of driving (e.g. using one hand to steer), which would have definitely made me fail on the road test. We quite much drove the same route as what I then drove in the road test.
With Krisna’s help I was able to pass the road test on first try.
I would definitely recommend U-PASS for anyone in need of driving lessons or a road test package as in my case. Plus their rates are the best!
