What is my best option for driving lessons?
If you’re a mature drive and need to re-take your road test, there are a few options, depending on your needs as a driver. We like to assess the situation by beginning with an evaluation lesson. This allows both the instructor and the student to understand whether more lessons are actually needed. If the evaluation lesson is sufficient, it will be the only lesson completed.
Can I use my own vehicle for driving lessons?
No, we cannot give lessons in your car, unless you have a Class 7 or a Class 5 Learner Licence. Under the Motor Vehicle Act, we are not permitted to give lessons without the proper vehicle setup. Our cars are fitted with dual brake and accelerator controls for safety reasons.
Can I use my own vehicle for the road test?
Yes, you can. You can also use our car for your road test at our affordable rates.
My child is petite or very tall. Will they fit in the vehicle?
Our modern Toyota cars can easily accommodate varying sizes and heights, despite their small size. Shorter students who may require pedal extensions normally do not need them, and larger students can lower the seat right to the floor to fit into the vehicle. The vehicles are also equipped with telescopic steering system to keep the student a safe distance from the airbag.

If a student is late for an appointment, our instructor will wait for 15 minutes before leaving. However, we will try to contact you before moving to our next appointment.

YOUR ROAD TEST
What to expect, and what to bring.
The Class 5 and 7 road tests are designed to ensure that drivers know and understand the rules of the road and can drive safely on our roads.
Before the road tests, the driver examiner will introduce themselves to you and say a few friendly words. He or she will then explain what will happen during the road test including maneuvers that you will be asked to complete. You will then be given an opportunity to ask any questions.
During the road test, the driver examiner will remain quiet except to give you directions or notify you of a situation that requires your attention. Ongoing discussion during a road test may distract you. The driver examiner will not try to trick you or ask you to do anything illegal. If you are not clear about directions, be sure to ask the driver examiner for clarification.
Keep in mind that the driver examiner is not there to teach you or coach you through the road test. They are there to evaluate your driving against criteria based on safe driving practices and the rules of the road.
At the end of the test, the driver examiner will advise you of your road test results and give suggestions to improve further your driving. You may also ask your driver examiner to advise your supervisor of these results and suggestions.
